When Stefani was in kindergarten, each of the kindergarten classes were to perform a song at the winter concert. Stefani's class was to present "Frosty the Snowman" and several students were selected to go on stage and place the carrot, corn cob pipe, etc. on a Frosty cut-out. The teacher drew popsicle sticks with the students' names to determine who would go on stage. Stefani was not picked, but in her heart, she knew that she was meant to be up on that stage.
In second grade, Stefani got that opportunity when she was cast in the lead role as Cici the elf in her school's second grade Christmas musical. From then on, she knew that she could never be happy pursuing anything but acting and singing.
Biography
When not living the dream, Stefani enjoys participating in social sports, learning new cooking techniques, watching documentaries and rocking the karaoke machine.
Another of Stefani's passions is reaching out to her community and raising awareness of the impact of Alzheimer's Disease. In Richmond, VA, Stefani was the President of the Young Adults for Alzheimer's Awareness (www.yaaarichmond.org). She hopes to bring the same passion and energy to her new community in Los Angeles.
